Casco Bay Molding produces Class VI biocompatible custom molded silicone parts used in pharmaceutical, medical, food, beverage, industrial, consumer and biotechnology applications. The translucent or colored, biocompatible, Class VI, medical grade custom molded silicone components combine the high temperature properties of liquid silicone rubber to produce silicone custom molded components that are odorless, tasteless and nontoxic.

The Liquid Silicone Rubber Certifications Sheets are available for the liquid silicone parts produced from the Class VI, medical grade silicone rubber. Casco Bay customers have the option of having their Liquid Silicone Rubber parts injection molded in our clean room molding area.

Overmolded Silicone Rubber Parts

The injection molded liquid silicone rubber custom molded components we produce are available in a wide variety of shapes, sizes & colors. Our joint venture silicone mold making facility engineers simple-plate type molds as well intricate molds for parts with large undercuts or through holes geometries.

Casco Bay Molding frequently recommends a "core & cavity set" approach to customer developing a new product or interested in prototype or short run silicone part production. This silicone rubber core and cavity set mold approach reduces our customers tooling cost by avoiding the cost of a fabricated silicone injection mold base.
